Spiced pear and apple galette with maple glaze

    vegan puff pastry, 1 packet or

  • 250

    g

    pears

  • 250

    g

    apples

  • 1

    tbsp

    cinnamon

  • 2

    tsp

    ginger

  • 1

    tsp

    all spice

  • 2

    tbsp

    margarine

  • 1

    tbsp

    maple syrup

  • Pinch of salt

  • Walnuts optional

  • Vegan ice cream optional

Recipe

  1. Preheat the oven to 185 C
  2. Chop the apples and pears vertically.
  3. Now, in a pan, heat the margarine and pour the fruit in the pan.
  4. Add all the spices, salt, and maple syrup into the mixture and cook for 5 minutes or until fragrant.
  5. Spread the vegan pastry, and pour the fruit mixture into the pastry but leave 1 inch off for the pastry fold.
  6. Fold the edges of the pastry around the filling.
  7. Now bake for 40 minutes.

Sprinkle some walnuts and top off with some vegan vanilla ice cream and maple syrup.
