    green bell pepper, vertically chopped

    pickled jalapeños

  • 1 baguette, cut mid-way in half

Recipe

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius.
  2. Heat up a pan with vegetable oil, and caramelize the chopped red onions, soy sauce, maple syrup, seasonings, and powder for 3 minutes or until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the lentils and fake soy meat and cook again for 5 more minutes.
  4. Next toss in the green bell peppers and cook for a couple minutes.
  5. Fill your baguette with a couple tablespoons of the meat mixture and top it off with a handful of the vegan cheese.
  6. Bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and serve with some pickled jalapeños on top for a tangy kick and served best with some sweet potato fries!
