Ingredients

250g rice
200g tofu
2 tsp of soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp of maple syrup
1 tsp of sesame oil
1 clove of garlic
4g of ginger
6 strips of nori

Preparation

1. Cook rice
2. Prepare tofu teriyaki filling:
Press tofu for 10 minutes to remove moisture.
Dice into small cubes.
Heat sesame oil in a pan, sauté small cut garlic and ginger for 1 minute.
Add tofu, then soy sauce and maple syrup.
Cook until tofu is lightly glazed (5–7 minutes).
Set aside to cool.
3. Shape onigiri
Wet your hands and rub with a bit of salt.
Take about 90-100g cooked rice per onigiri.
Flatten gently, add a spoonful of tofu filling in the center.
Shape into triangle or round form.
Wrap with a strip of nori.
4. Ready to serve and enjoy!
