“Cooking with an Expert” is a part of our food practicum that focus on learning by doing education. It is a hands-on cooking experience where our students join sustainability professionals and/or culinary experts to create delicious, bio-vegan dishes. In an informal, interactive setting, students learn how to prepare meals that are both environmentally sustainable and nutritionally rich.

Twice a month, we cook together with our staff as part of the Vital Employee Well-being Program, offered by our Human Resources Department.
The recipes are specially developed to demonstrate how to prepare a well-balanced hot lunch menu that is “healthy for you and the planet.”

Food Events
Beyond Me Challenge
This transformative 30-day experience invites participants to go vegan, embracing the journey toward a more sustainable, compassionate, and health-conscious lifestyle.
Each day, participants receive inspiring, easy-to-follow vegan recipes designed to expand their culinary horizons and make plant-based eating enjoyable and accessible. To deepen their skills and connect with others on the journey, participants join two hands-on cooking workshops led by us.
At the end of the challenge, those who complete all 30 days have the chance to share their story, with a prize awarded for the most inspiring or impactful experience. All organizations with teams can join this challenge. We make it tailor-made for your organization and the perfect timing is January or June.
Mystery Box Challenge
The “Mystery Box Challenge” is an exciting, fast-paced competition where groups of participants are tasked with creating a delicious plant-based recipe using surprise ingredients.
Each team must think on their feet, combining creativity with culinary skill to craft a dish that’s not only mouthwatering but also environmentally impactful. After cooking, each group presents their creation to a panel, explaining how their dish contributes to saving the planet—from reducing carbon footprints to supporting local ecosystems. Teams are judged on taste, presentation, and the story behind their dish, making this a fun and educational experience that highlights the power of plant-based cooking in a deliciously competitive way!
