Who we are?
Erasmus Food Lab is a living lab for learning about sustainable, equitable, and healthy food while simultaneously putting that knowledge into practice.
We operate from our university campus to set an example of sustainable food culture, bringing together students, researchers, chefs, food entrepreneurs, and other professionals in an academic setting. Together, we work toward creating a just food ecosystem that integrates sustainability into daily life.
Our kitchen serves as a hub for building an inclusive movement for all living beings, inspiring deep and lasting change.
Vision
We envision a future where sustainable food practices are foundational, creating a positive impact on our community and planet, driven by the Erasmus Food Lab.

What we do?
Founded in 2017 as a student-led initiative, we provide information and experiences on sustainable and equitable food through projects, events, electives, and hands-on lectures in our state-of-the-art campus kitchen.
All our programs demonstrate how to reduce CO₂ emissions by cooking with seasonal, organic, local, and plant-based ingredients—no need to be a chef or a millionaire… although we may sometimes inspire you to show off as a chef at the dinner table.
